Ingredients:
  • 1 Large Pumpkin
  • 7 Oz. Rice
  • 2 Cups Raisins
  • 3.5 Oz. Butter
  • For to cook the rice with:
  • 2.2 Cups Milk
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 7 Oz. Butter
  • 2 Pinches of Salt
  • 2 Cups Water

Clean the pumpkin, peel off the skin and dice it into bigger and smaller cubes.

Pour water on the raisins. Wash the rice.

Place butter on the bottom of a big saucepan and place larger pieces of the pumpkin on it. Then put a layer of rice on it.

Then put a layer of raisins on it. Put another layer of the pumpkin on it. Then repeat the layers until finishing with a layer of rice.

Mix butter with sugar and salt. Add water and milk to it and mix.

Pour the mix onto the layers of pumpkin and rice and cook it until everything is cooked soft. At the end put some more butter on the top of the pilaf.

Serve until it is still warm. Enjoy!
