  • 2 Cups Strong flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp Instant yeast
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 0.6 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1.4 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 6 Tbsp Unsalted butter

Prepare the dough: Mix the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, and egg with milk together. Knead the dough until it is ready.

Add 1.4 tablespoons of butter to the dough and knead until the butter is properly absorbed in the dough.

Make the dough round and divide it into 9 parts.

Create 9 small balls and let them rest for about 15 minutes.

After that roll the balls into a round shape of about 40cm in diameter.

Put the round shape doughs on each other while spreading butter on each of the layers of the dough.

Keep the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.

After taking it out from the freezer, make a big round dough of 40cm in diameter. Divide into 12 pieces.

Spread whisked egg on the top of them and bake for 10 minutes on 390°F/200°C, then lower to 355°F/180°C to bake for 6 minutes.
