Ingredients:
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 cup Plain greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Yeast
  • 2 cup Bread flour/wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Melted unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Water-soaked raisins
Directions:

Mix egg with plain greek yogurt, because the consistency of yogurt varies, the amount of yogurt can be adjusted appropriately. Add sugar, you can reduce the amount if you use sweet yogurt. Add yeast. Mix well, you can leave it for 5 minutes to activate the yeast.

Add bread flour/wheat flour and salt. Stir into a dough.

Add melted unsalted butter. Stir into the dough with a spatula. Then let the dough rest for about 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes remove the lid. Continue mixing the dough for about 1 minute. Then cover the dough and let it ferment for about 1 hour.

After 1 hour, the dough is fermented very well. Sprinkle some dry flour on the mat to prevent sticking. Transfer the dough to the mat. Sprinkle a little more flour on top to prevent sticking, this dough is very sticky. Flatten the dough.

Water-soaked raisins. Spread evenly on top of the dough. Fold in several times and wrap the raisins inside the dough. Turn over and round it.

Divide the dough into 8 parts. Knead each small portion of dough. Put the rounded dough into the mold, the size of the mold is 12x22cm. The 8 small doughs are soon rounded.

If you don't have a rectangular baking pan, you can use a round baking pan. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, brush egg or milk on the surface of the dough. Put in the middle of the preheated oven and bake at 340 °F/170 °C for 22 minutes.
