This Sirtfood diet no-bake sweet treats is healthy and may help you to lose weight. This is an easy and quick option that will fulfill your sugar needs and keep you fit. Worth trying! This recipe is inspired by Adele’s weight loss “Sirtfood diet“.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cup Pecans
  • 6 tbsp. Cocoa nibs OR 1 ounce dark chocolate (85 percent cocoa solids), broken into pieces
  • 15 oz. Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 tbsp. Cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp. Ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp. Extra-virgin olive oil (if necessary)
  • 1 Piece Vanilla bean halved and scraped, or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp. Water (if necessary)
  • Optional for stuffing your truffle bites:
  • Whole pecans (as needed)
  • Whole pine nuts (as needed)
  • For coating:
  • 3 tbsp. Shredded dry coconut
  • 3 tbsp. Cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp. Shaved or chopped almonds
Directions:

Place the pecans and chocolate in a food processor and process until you have a fine crumble.

Add all the other ingredients (except the water and oil) and blend until the mixture forms a ball-like big dollop that sticks together. You may or may not have to add the water or oil depending on the consistency of the mixture—you don’t want it to be too sticky.

Using your hands, form the mixture into bite-size balls and refrigerate in an airtight container for at least 1 hour before eating them.

You could roll some of the balls in some more cocoa, dried coconut, or sliced almonds to achieve a different finish if you like. Additionally, you could also stuff the balls with nuts like pecans and/or pine nuts. They will keep for up to 1 week in your fridge.
