Ingredients:
  • For the Dough
  • 7 oz. Bread flour/All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. Instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/3 cup Cold milk
  • 0.7 oz. Unsalted butter
  • Garlic butter sauce
  • 1.4 oz. Unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • Topping
  • 1 Egg, for the egg wash
  • 1/2 tbsp. Sesame seeds
  • 4 tbsp. Green onion, chopped
Directions:

Mix the bread flour with salt, sugar, instant yeast, and an egg. Add milk and knead the mixture until it creates a dough. Keep in the refrigerator for 30 mins.

Add the butter and knead into the dough. for 8 minutes.

Knead and beat the dough for 15 minutes on the board.

Ferment for an hour until it is double-sized.

Melt the butter in a pan and add minced garlic and salt.

Degas the dough. Roll it out on a rolling board. Paste the garlic butter on the top and add chopped green onion and cut it into squares.

Put 3 pieces of them on top of each other. Then put them into a baking dish on the sides following each other. Cover and let it ferment for 30 minutes.

Egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Preheat the oven at 340 ℉/ 170 °C, baking for 23 minutes.
