Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

Chia seeds have been becoming more popular as people realize its benefits. It’s high in fiber, protein, minerals, and omega-3s, which promote heart health. There are many ways to incorporate them into your diet but chia seed pudding is a great one, as it’s versatile, kid-friendly, and easy to store. In this recipe, we’re making a chocolate chia seed pudding with hints of cinnamon and maple, topped with whipped cream and berries.

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch Ground salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 5 tbsp. Maple syrup
  • cup Almond milk
  • 1/4 cup Chia seeds

Take a bowl, add cacao powder (sieve it to reduce clumps), ground cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract and maple syrup then mix well. Then add some milk at a time and whisk a bit. Then add milk and whisk until smooth. Add chia seeds and whisk to combine, then cover and refrigerate overnight.

Put the pudding to the continer, and garnish with whipped cream and raspberry or other desired toppings then serve.
