Ingredients:
  • 2.5 Cup Water
  • Touch of cream (totally optional, just for adding richness and better color/consistency)
  • 3-4 Tbsp Macadamia nuts OR hazelnuts
  • 1 Ea. Medjool date
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Clove powder (can reduce to half the quantity for a lesser aromatic result)
  • 1 pinch Sea salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Tsp Ashwagandha root powder equivalent to 1g
Directions:

Add all ingredients to a blender and whizz till smooth and creamy. Transfer to a pot and heat gently up to the desired temperature. Do not boil.

OPTIONAL STEP: Strain the liquid into a mesh strainer if wanting a smoother result. Keep in mind this step will remove lots of the creaminess of the final result.

To serve, add a sprinkle of cinnamon powder.
