Thai Beef Salad (Yum Nua)

A Thai beef salad is full of flavor and even has a little spice if you want it. The essence of the lime with coconut aminos adds a bit of sweetness to the salad while the meat adds its own flavor. The dish is not only healthy but is vibrant as well.

Ingredients:
  • 8 oz. Boneless Beef Strip Steak
  • ㅤMarinade
  • 6 tbsp. Coconuts Amino
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
  • ㅤSalad Dressing
  • 2 tbsp. Fish Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Coconuts Amino
  • 3 medium Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp. Chile Flakes
  • 2 tbsp. Sweet Chili Sauce
  • ㅤSalad
  • 2 Large Cucumber, cut into small cube size
  • 1/4 ¼ Purple Onion, sliced
  • 3 medium Sweet Pepper, diced
  • 2 medium Tomato, diced
  • 1 tbsp. Mint Leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped
  • 2 small Shallots, diced

Marinate 8oz New York Strip steak (1in thick)for 20-30 minutes.

Place the steaks on the grill and cook until golden brown and slightly charred, 4 to 5 minutes.

Turn the steaks over and continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare (an internal temperature of 135 degrees F), 5 to 7 minutes for medium (70°C / 140°F), or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well (75°C / 150°F).

Set the steak aside and let it rest at room temperature for 10-15mins before slicing strips...next, cut the steak into thin strips, this will allow the steak to combine with the salad dressing.

Mix all the【Salad Dressing】ingredents in a bow.

In a large salad bowl, add all the 【Salad】 ingredients. Add 【Salad Dressing】and mix well.
