Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. Tofu
  • 3 oz. Chinese Bacon
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • 0.5 tbsp. Garlic, Minced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp. Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Green Onion
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 0.25 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Starch
  • 4 tbsp. Cornstarch Water (2 Tbsp Cornstarch Mixed With 1 Tbsp Water)
  • 1 tbsp. Fresh Red Chili
  • 2 tbsp. Green Onion

Cut tofu vertically into about ¼ inch thick slices.

Cut Chinese Bacon into thin slices.

In a medium-sized bowl, put a layer of tofu on the bottom first, then put a layer of Chinese Bacon on top of tofu.

Put the bowl in a steamer basket. Steam for 10 minutes.

In a cooking pan over high heat, add about 1 tablespoon cooking oil, and saute garlic until fragrant.

Then add water, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and salt. Stir to mix. Stir in the starch slurry to thicken until the desired thickness. Add red chili.

Pour the sauce to the top of the tofu and Chinese bacon.

Sprinkle with the chopped green onions. Serve hot.
