2 SERVING
Ingredients:
  • — Mini Rose Pear Tart —
  • 4 Large Pears (RED ANJOUS)
  • 1/4 cup Red wine
  • tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 Large Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 Star anise
  • 4 Pieces Cardamom
  • 4 Mini frozen tart shells
  • 1 Can Whipped cream
  • — Pear Cardamom Oats Smoothie —
  • 1 Large Pear (GREEN ANJOUS)
  • 1/4 cup Old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup Oat milk
  • 2 tsp. Honey
  • 1/2 cup Ice
  • 1/8 tsp. Ground cardamom
Directions:
1
Mini Rose Pear Tart: Core the pear leaving the skin on. (It holds the rose shape better.) Cut them into 1/8-inch (2mm) thin slices.
2
In a pot, add red wine, sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick, star anise and cardamom. Bring to a boil. Then, poach the pears in the wine mixture for 5 minutes. Take the pears out and reduce the mixture until you have thick syrup.
3
Bake frozen tart shells according to package directions. Once cooled, fill the tart shells with whipped cream.
4
Place the pears and roll them to form a rose and place them on top of each tartlet. Put some red wine syrup on the roses using a brush.
5
Pear Cardamom Oats Smoothie: Cut the pear into smaller pieces. Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend on low, then finish on high for 1 to 2 minutes, until smooth.
