These easy, delicious and beautiful Hot Dog Buns are a new way of preparing a frankfurter. The light dough with parmesan coating hides the frankfurter which with 4 cuts forms a flower. Combined with the mayonnaise it is perfect as breakfast or a snack. It is little a crunchy and also soft and tasty.

Ingredients:

1 Large Egg
2 Tbsp Sugar
0.5 Cup Milk
1 Tsp Instant yeast
1.6 Cup Bread flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Unsalted butter
8 Large Hot dogs
Water
Parmesan cheese powder
Mayonnaise
Chopped parsley

Directions:

Mix egg with sugar, milk, instant yeast, and salt. Then add the bread flour and mix well.

Knead the dough until the dough is not sticking to the bowl. Let it rest for 20 minutes.

Then add the unsalted butter to the dough and knead it properly into the dough. Let it rise for about an hour.

Divide the dough into 8 parts and create small dough balls. Let them rest for about 15 minutes.

Roll out the dough ball and create a small square from it. Put a hot dog on the dough and roll it inside the dough.

When ready wash them with water and put them into the Parmesan cheese powder.

Make 4 cuts and create a flower from the dough. Put them on a baking tray and let them sour for about 40 minutes.

Then make 4 cuts into each flower petal from the top. Thus there will be a whole. Push some mayonnaise into each hole and add some chopped parsley in there. Preheat the oven to 375 °F/190 °C and bake for 12 minutes
