Ingredients:
  • For the dough:
  • 1.8 cup Lukewarm Milk
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp. Instant yeast
  • 2 tbsp. Condensed milk
  • 2 cup Bread flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • For the filling:
  • 2 tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • 1.5 tbsp. Condensed milk
  • 4 tsp. Milk powder
Directions:

Mix milk with sugar, yeast, and condensed milk.

Add flour to it and mix well. Knead the dough until it is not sticking to the bowl. Let it rest for 20 minutes.

Add salt and unsalted butter to the dough and knead it into the dough until you get a homogenized dough that is not sticking. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

In the meantime prepare the filling. Mix butter with condensed milk and milk powder.

Roll out the dough. Paste the filling on the top of the dough.

Cut out long slices from the dough. Roll up the slices. The first roll joins with the other slice, and rolls on that continuing with the following slices and per the video.

Put it into a pan size 9-inch pan. Let the dough rise for about 90 minutes.

When ready, apply egg wash and sprinkle with almond slices. Preheat the oven to 340 °F/170 °C. Bake for 25 minutes.
