Ingredients:
  • 5 oz. Ground Pork
  • Marinade
  • 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Shaoxing Cooking Wine
  • 1 tsp. White Pepper
  • 1 count Egg
  • 1 tbsp. Minced Green Onion
  • 1 tbsp. Minced Ginger
  • 10 count Jalapeño Peppers
  • 1 oz. Garlic Cloves
  • 2 cup Water
  • Seasoning
  • 1 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Rock Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Black Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing Cooking Wine
  • 2 tbsp. Cornstarch Slurry (2 Tbsp Cornstarch Mixed With 1 Tbsp Water)

In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork with [marinade] ingredients and add minced green onion and minced ginger. blend completely. set aside.

Cut each jalapeño into halves and remove the seeds.

Stuff jalapeño halves with the seasoned ground pork.

In a cooking pan, heat enough cooking oil to 200℉/100℃, and deep-fry garlic cloves until golden. Remove and drain.

In the same wok, deep-fry stuffed jalapeño halves at 200℉/100℃ until brown.

Remove the stuffed jalapeño peppers from oil and drain.

Return the cooking pan to heat, add fried garlic, water, and [seasoning] ingredients.

In the same wok, add fried jalapeño halves, Shaoxing cooking wine, and stir to cook for a minute.
