Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. Pork Rib
  • ½ tbsp Shaoxing cooking wine
  • 3 slices Ginger, Sliced
  • 1 stalk Green Onions, Cut Into 1/2 Inch Pieces.
  • 2 cobs Fresh Corn
  • 1 large Carrot
  • ¼ tsp Ground Salt

Cut the corn into 3 equal pieces and roll-cut the carrots.

In a medium-size cooking pot over high heat, add 1.5qt cold water and pork ribs, then bring it to a boil to remove the blood and gamey taste.

Then remove pork ribs from boiling water.

Wash clean in cold water.

In a medium-size cooking pot over low heat, add 1.5qt cold water, pork ribs, Shaoxing cooking wine, ginger slices, green onion segments. Bring it to a boil; turn the heat to low, simmer for 90 minutes.

Then add corn and carrot, continue cooking over low heat for 30 minutes. Season with salt at the end. (Note: Don't add too much salt, thus the fresh sweetness of the corn is not going to be overwhelmed.
