Ingredients:
  • 2 lb. Whole chicken
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking oil
  • 0.5 oz. Garlic, sliced
  • 0.5 oz. Ginger, sliced
  • 0.5 oz. Green onion, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.25 tsp. Black pepper, a pinch
  • 1 bottle Beer
  • 0.5 oz. Rock sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 oz. Bacon, Roasted
  • 1 oz. Green Red pepper
  • 1 oz. Cherry tomatoes
  • 5 oz. Yellow mushroom
  • 1 tbsp. Water + Corn Starch (a mixture of starch and water of equal parts)

Hand break the yellow mushroom into small pieces.

Cut the chicken into large chunky pieces.

In a cooking pot over medium heat, add 1 tbsp cooking oil, sliced garlic, a couple of ginger slices, and chopped green onions. Stir fry until fragrant. Then add chicken pieces, a pinch of black pepper, a bottle of beer, rock sugar, and soy sauce. Stir to mix well.

Cover with a lid, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Uncover the lid, add baked bacon pieces, red pepper, cheery tomatoes, yellow mushrooms, and stir several times to mix well. To finish off, add slurry to thicken the sauce until the desired consistency.
