Barbie Birthday Cake Decoration

No party would be complete without a birthday cake. This Barbie-themed birthday cake is great for celebrating the special occasion.

Ingredients:

2 lb Cake Embryo, 10 inch (store-bought)
1 lb Whipping Cream
1 tsp Pink, blue, and magenta food color (each)
1 count Barbie, full-sized

Directions:

Step 1

Use a little of the frosting in between each layer to glue your cake together.

Step 2

Use a full sized Barbie. Wrap your Barbie’s body and legs in plastic wrap to protect it from the frosting process.

Step 3

Insert Barbie legs all the way down into the middle of the cake. Now Barbie is ready for her “crumb coat” of frosting. A crumb coat is just a light layer of frosting over the entire cake. Use the frosting to cover her bosoms to complete the dress.

Step 4

Decorate the skirt with icing tinted any color or use more than one color of your choice. Use a decorator tip to make the skirt as fancy as you like and decorate the top of the doll for the top of the dress also.

Step 5

Once your crumb coat is finished, put Barbie in the fridge for about an hour to firm up the frosting. Enjoy!
