Ingredients:
  • 12 large Tiger prawns
  • Marinade
  • 1/8 tsp. Ground salt
  • 1/8 tsp. White pepper
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tbsp. Corn starch
  • Crispy Coating
  • 3 cup Bread crumbs
  • Sweet and Sour Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 small Tomato, diced
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 1/2 Lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp. Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. White vinegar
  • Fry The Tiger prawns
  • 1 Qt Cooking oil
  • Sauce Seasoning
  • 2/3 tsp. Ground salt
  • 2 tbsp. Cornstarch slurry (1 to 2 ratio of cornstarch to water)
  • 1/2 half Green pepper

Shell and devein tiger prawns, rinse and pat dry with paper towels. (Deveining is very important. must clean and dry with paper towels. otherwise, it tastes not that good.)

Combine tiger prawns with 【Marinade】(except corn starch)

Add corn starch and mix well.

Place bread crumbs in a big tray, coat tiger prawn with bread crumbs one by one, hold it in pawn to make sure bread crumbs not easy to fall off when frying. (When pasting the tiger prawn with bread crumbs, make sure brad crumbs attach all over the tiger prawn as tight as possible.)

Take a big bowl, add all the ingredients of【Sweet and Sour Sauce】and mix them well.

Heat a work over medium-high heat at 350°F/180°C. add the tiger prawn in a single layer, stir and cook for 30 seconds, flip them, stir and cook for another 30s. Then add potato starch slurry right away. (Do not add too much potato starch slurry. just wrapping tiger prawn evenly is good enough)
