Mari (Akiko Kikuchi) grew tired of living in Tokyo and decided to move back to her small hometown in Shizuoka Prefecture. She opens a small store selling ice flakes with syrup which she enjoys herself. Mari runs the store with Hajime-chan (Azusa Mine) who has a large burn scar on her face.

Peacefully satisfied
This is going to one of my most favorite movies ever. top 5. I've never felt so peacefully satisfied watching a movie. I don't wanna tell you why I like this movie and spoil your finding to for yourself. But really this is one amazing movie and y'all should watch it.

5 Star! Really appetizing
When it comes to the theme of moving back to the countryside and figuring out what to do with your life after having lived in the city for so long, this movie is absolutely one of my favorites. This movie participated in the Japan Film Week that is hosted by the Japan Foundation worldwide. The theme of that particular week was movies about food. The shaved ice in this movie seemed really appetizing I must say. :)
