Ingredients:
  • 2 lb. Short necked clams
  • 100 g Rice vermicelli
  • 200 g Garlic
  • 1.5 tbsp. Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. Fish sauce
  • 0.5 tsp. White Pepper
  • 1 cup Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp. Scallion and red bell pepper (For garnish)

Clean the clams and cup to open.

Cut out the meat and put it in a bowl. Set aside. Keep the shell.

Soften the vermicelli with water. Soak for 30 minutes.

Chop the garlic. Heat up a pot with oil, and put in 100 g minced garlic, stir-fry until turn to golden brown, then put in another 100 g minced garlic. Stir-fry well. Transfer cooked garlic in a bowl.

Wait until cool down, season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce and white pepper. Mix well.

Warm up a large pan to medium-high heat. Add in vermicelli, fish sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook well and transfer to a bowl. Set side.

On the shell, put the mixed vermicelli and top it with clam meat.

Add the garlic sauce over the clam.
