Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. Beef Short Rib
  • Marinade
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing Wine
  • 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 count Egg
  • 1 tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. Oil
  • 0.25 cup Garlic Slice
  • 0.33 cup Onion
  • 0.25 cup Dried Chili
  • 1 cup Green Garlic
  • 1 cup Green and Red Chili Pepper
  • 2 tbsp. Shaoxing Wine
  • Seasoning
  • 0.1 tbsp. Chef Made Peppercorn Oil (See "Chef John's Signature Oils" Video)
  • 1 tsp. Oyster Sauce
  • 0.5 tsp. Soy Sauce
  • 0.5 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Sweet Black Rice Vinegar
  • 0.25 tsp. Black Pepper

Cut the short ribs to small pieces.

In a large bowl, mix short ribs with the marinade ingredients. Put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Cut the red and green peppers.

Cut the onions.

Cut dried chili.

Put 1 tbsp oil in the pan and stir-fry marinated short ribs until no longer pink. Remove and drain.

Return the pan to the stove, saute the garlic slices until fragrant. Then add onion and dried chilies, and stir to combine.

In the same wok, add garlic greens, mixture of red and green peppers, and peppercorn oil. Stir to mix well.

In the same wok, add cooked beef short ribs, oyster oil, soy sauce, sugar, sweet black rice vinegar, and black pepper. Quickly stir fry to combine.
