Ingredients:
  • 1 1/3 qt. Water
  • 2 Slices Ginger, Sliced
  • 1 Stalk Green Onions, Cut Into 1/2 Inch Pieces.
  • 10 oz. Pork Chop
  • 1 tsp. Shaoxing Wine
  • 6 oz. Pumpkin
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
Directions:

Cut the pumpkin into small pieces after removing the sac. Note: Please keep the pumpkin skin, which is very nutritious.

Cut the pork chops into small pieces, blanch them with water to remove the smell of blood, and clean them for later use. The purpose of blanching in the water: the soup will be refreshing and with no fishy smell.

Use a small soup pot, pour water, turn on high heat, and when the water boils, add ginger slices, green onion, pork chops, and Shaoxing cooking wine. Cover the pot and simmer for 45 minutes - 1 hour. Finally, add the pumpkin, season with salt, and continue to simmer for 5 minutes. Note: Pumpkin is easy to cook, it is not easy to add it at the right moment, and it is necessary to master the time of its cooking.
