Ingredients:
  • 1 Whole White pomfret
  • Marinadeㅤ
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. White pepper
  • 2 stalks Green onions, cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
  • 1 small Ginger, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing wine
  • Coating
  • 1 cup Corn starch
  • Cook The Fish
  • 1 cup Cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • Stir-fry The Fish
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1/4 cup Onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Green Pepper and Red Pepper, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Salt

Chop the white pomfret at 45-degrees into 5 equal parts.

Put the fish into a bowl, add in【Marinade】 mix well.

Put some cornstarch into a tray and coat the marinated fish evenly in it. (Do not use excessive cornstarch.)

Pour some butter and oil into a large wok and set it over medium-low heat. When the butter melts completely, put the white pomfret pieces in and fry for 3 to 5 minutes. (Stir-fly slowly over medium-low heat.)

When the fish becomes golden brown, remove it from the wok, and drain the oil.

Add some butter to another pot and set it over medium-low heat. When the butter melts completely pour in the minced onion, and minced green and red pepper, stir fry for 3 to 5 minutes until it smells aromatic. Add in the fish pieces, and some garlic salt, stir-fry evenly, it's ready to serve.
