Ingredients:
  • lb. Chicken drumette
  • Marinade
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Cayenne pepper powder
  • 1 tsp. Five-spice powder
  • 1 tsp. Custard powder
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 large Lime juice
  • Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Gochujang
  • 2 tbsp. Tomato sauce
  • tbsp. Honey
  • tbsp. Mirin
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. White pepper
  • 1/2 large Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. Water
  • Crispy Coatingㅤ
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Corn starch
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground black pepper
  • Stir-Fry Fried Chicken
  • 1 tbsp. Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp. White sesame seeds

First, slightly cut chicken wings twice, this way, it will season better and be more tasty.

Add 【Marinade】 in a bowl, then add chicken wings, marinating for 10 min.

Add 【Sauce】in another bowl, mix them well. if it is too thickened, add a little bit of water.

Mix 【Crispy Coating】in a plate. then coat the chicken wing with the flour mixture evenly.

Take a deep big work over high heat, add 2qt cooking oil until oil up to 350°F/180°C.

Then turn to small-medium heat and add chicken wings. do not move chicken wings right after you put them in. leaving them there a while can make sure coating on the wings.

Fry for 7-8 mins or until it turns golden, take them out.

Add them back when oil temperature up to 350°F/180°C, fry for 20-30s, quickly take them out. the 2nd frying makes wings more crispy. (Note: oil temperature is very important)

Take a flat pan over medium heat, add butter, 1tbsp minced garlic, stir fry for 10-15s, add another 1tbsp minced garlic before the first 1tbsp minced garlic turn to golden. stir fry for 5s. adding garlic twice separately is to make it tasty.

Then add the sauce, hear over the high fire to make the sauce thicken.

Add fried chicken wings, make sure the sauce evenly wrapping up wings.

Turn off the fire, sprinkle white sesame seeds, stir fry a little bit to wrap sesame seeds all over the wings.
