Ingredients:
  • 9 oz. Chicken thigh
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking oil
  • 2 oz. Garlic
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tbsp. Light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Rock sugar
  • 2/3 qt. Water
  • 6 oz. Chestnut
  • 1 tsp. Five-spice powder
  • 1 tsp. Sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. White pepper
  • 2 Stalks Green onions, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp. Red pepper rings
Directions:

First, cut across the chestnuts with scissors, put them in the microwave for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then take them out to easily remove the shells. Then soak the peeled chestnuts in water to prevent oxidation and blackening.

Cut chicken thighs into small pieces.

Use a medium-sized casserole, turn on medium heat, pour in oil, add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, add chicken and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, then add seasoning Shaoxing cooking wine, light soy sauce, salt, rock sugar, Water, chestnuts, and Five-spice powder, simmer for 25-30 minutes over medium heat, and finally add sesame oil, white pepper, green onion, and red pepper rings and mix well.
